Assistant Professor of Environmental Experimental Economics (Tenure Track)
The Department of Economics and Business at the Colin Powell School of the City College of New York (CCNY-CUNY) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank in Environmental or Experimental Economics, beginning Fall 2026. We welcome applicants specializing in Economics, Environmental Economics, Experimental Economics or a closely related discipline. Responsibilities
Pursue high-quality scholarship and teach courses in economics, environmental economics, experimental economics, and related areas. Teach introductory and/or core courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Supervise MA students and contribute to the overall academic environment of the economics and business department and the college. About The Colin Powell School
The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership is the division of social sciences at CCNY and is comprised of five academic departments. It is home to leadership development and public service programs, interdisciplinary programs, and a diverse student body engaged in community service and scholarship. Ph.D. degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, Experimental Economics, or a closely related discipline is required (candidates must have a Ph.D., or have all requirements fulfilled by the start of the appointment). Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate a record of high-quality research and teaching. Compensation
Salary Range: $98,995 - $109,025. Salary commensurate with education and experience. CUNY offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including health insurance, pension/retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
