Overview
The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos has an opening for a Configuration Manager Lead to support the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. The role involves managing design, development, integration, validation, operation, and maintenance of current and new features and capabilities on the DI Network. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and will serve as the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all services across the Department of Defense, as part of Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). Location: Ability to work in Northern Virginia, Dayton, OH, or Orlando, FL is preferred. Remote work from other locations will also be considered. Responsibilities
Lead and perform activities including action item tracking and closure; review, finalization and delivery of deliverables; oversee and maintain the integrity of Configuration Management (CM). Collaborate with the team to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.). Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the system's complexity and scope. Implement CM discipline for the entire lifecycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to end-of-life. Support systems engineering efforts toward program compliance, lifecycle improvements, audits, and formal program reviews with leadership and the customer. Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.). Perform change control and configuration audits. Participate in periodic meetings across all program domains, including formal customer sessions and milestones. Perform other responsibilities as needed by the program. Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required. Minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. BS or BA degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience or MS with 10–13 years of relevant experience. Ability to clearly articulate ideas, provide updates, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills to support organizing data to customer requirements. Demonstrated initiative in identifying and solving problems without waiting for direction. Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently. Ability to anticipate customer needs and address them before they escalate into issues. Experience participating in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution across system integration activities. Ability to work well with people from diverse disciplines and varying levels of technical experience. Prior experience with configuration management design and deployment. Experience developing Configuration Management Plans and related documentation. Demonstrated experience with software Configuration Management tools. Experience developing and managing configuration baselines (hardware and software). Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and technologies and apply them in a dynamic environment. Clearance
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jira and other Atlassian products. Experience with workflows for software release automation. Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio. ITIL Foundation Certification. Previous TS/SCI Clearance. Come break things (in a good way).
