Join the Workforce Productivity Services (WPS) Global Endpoint Management team as a technical Virtualization Engineer, driving innovation across our enterprise virtual desktop and application solutions. In this engineering-focused role, you’ll collaborate with others to shape the future of secure, scalable solutions to support global users & manufacturing operations. What You’ll Be Doing As a Virtualization Engineer, you will design, deploy, and optimize Citrix-based virtualization solutions supporting both Enterprise users and manufacturing functions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Cybersecurity, ensuring secure and efficient virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments. You will also oversee operational support activities led by our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure continuity, performance, and compliance across the service. Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Virtualization Technical Lead as needed to architect and implement enhancements to the virtualization service offerings Partner with business units to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions Work with MSP to ensure timely resolution of incidents and leverage proactive monitoring through tools such as UberAgent Develop automation use cases to streamline Citrix operational processes Ensure quality documentation is regularly updated and compliant with Lilly quality standards Support project initiatives that enhance virtualization capabilities across the organization by leveraging vendor best practices What You Should Bring
Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Workspace, StoreFront, FAS, Provisioning Services (PVS), Profile management (CPM/FSLogix) and Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and Citrix Monitor Familiarity with Citrix Cloud Servies and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS) Knowledge of profile management, WEM, and monitoring configurations Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g., UberAgent) for proactive monitoring Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation Basic understanding of foundation services (e.g., network & authentication fundamentals) Relevant certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), Professional (CCP-V), or Expert (CCE-V)) are preferred, but not required Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field 3+ years of experience in virtualization engineering Additional Information
Position requires 5-10% travel Position located in Indianapolis, Indiana working in a hybrid model Organization Overview
