Overview

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained Laryngologist to join an established Laryngology practice within a comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department in Sacramento, California. This is a quasi-academic opportunity with a busy regional referral-based practice and academic exposure with resident rotations from three sites as well as research opportunities. Our medical center features state-of-the-art laryngology equipment and support in both clinic and operating venues to provide full-service laryngology-based care. The nine OHNS physicians in the department provide a full range of services including general otolaryngology, laryngology/voice, otology/neurotology, endocrine surgery, sleep surgery, rhinology, and head and neck oncologic surgery. We collaborate with colleagues in maxillofacial, thoracic and vascular surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, endocrine, and sleep medicine. We are affiliated with the University of California, Davis, serving as a teaching hospital for residents in many specialties, including HNS, and with several residency programs in HNS, MFS, and Emergency Medicine. We are involved with medical student teaching through California Northstate University. Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in laryngology/voice within a broad OHNS practice, including collaboration with related specialties. Participate in academic activities with resident rotations and opportunities for research involvement. Engage in teaching and program-affiliated activities as part of a teaching hospital aligned with university programs. Contribute to a busy regional referral-based practice with a strong multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Fellowship-trained in Laryngology/Voice. Evidence of strong clinical and academic interest and ability to participate in resident education and research. About the program and environment
