Overview
Position Title: Lead Senior Infrastructure Design Engineer Work location will be mainly Dahlgren, VA US Citizenship required Clearance - Secret 1. Position Summary
Provide leadership and technical expertise in the design and implementation of complex voice, data, and wireless communication networks. This Key Personnel role supports planning, development, and modification of enterprise infrastructure systems in alignment with federal standards. 2. Key Responsibilities
Lead infrastructure design efforts across voice, video, and data networks Perform systems studies and develop network architecture plans Utilize Visio and AutoCAD for technical documentation and design Support planning and modification of existing and future network systems Ensure compliance with Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) standards 3. Minimum Qualifications
Six (6) years of professional work and leadership experience in network infrastructure Experience with landlines, cellphones, voice, video, and data networks Proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD Required certification: BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Must be obtained within 90 days of Task Order award if not currently held Written certification plan required if RCDD is not yet obtained 4. Qualifications
Experience with federal or DoD infrastructure projects Familiarity with structured cabling systems and fiber optics Knowledge of enterprise-level network architecture and scalability Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills 5. Employment Type & Location
Full-time, on-site role supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy IT systems and infrastructure. 6. Application Requirements
Resume must demonstrate compliance with all minimum qualifications. If RCDD certification is not held, a written plan for obtaining it within 90 days must be included.
