Performs diversified accounting and auditing assignments under supervision Participates in planning and scheduling client engagements Prepares and indexes work papers; performs procedures under GAAP to verify financial accuracy Develops understanding of GAAP, other accounting principles, and financial statement presentation Gains knowledge of auditing standards and procedures Communicates effectively with clients to gather necessary information Qualifications:
Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA exam; CPA certification preferred Minimum 5 years in public accounting with increasing responsibility Proficiency in accounting software Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Teamwork ability Experience in Government and Not-For-Profit industries is a plus Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
