Overview
Executive Recruiter - Head of Operations, Strategy, People/CoS Recruitment. Our client, a Healthcare Technology provider, is looking to hire a Chief of Staff to the CEO. This client offers a direct-to-consumer cancer screening service that leverages MRI and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make cancer screening fast, accurate and affordable. They are fully operational in multiple states (New York, California and Florida) with an AI-powered Full Body MRI screening program covering 13 organs. As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will serve as a strategic partner and force multiplier to their CEO, ensuring seamless execution of their most important priorities while building the operational infrastructure to scale their impact. This role offers exposure to product strategy and operations, investor relations, and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Drive Strategic Initiatives:
Lead high-priority special projects spanning multiple functions, from market expansion strategies to new product launches, ensuring flawless execution from inception to completion.
Optimize Executive Impact:
Manage the CEO's priorities, prepare comprehensive briefs for board meetings and investor discussions, and ensure systematic follow-through on all commitments.
Executive Presence:
Represent the CEO in internal and external settings when they may not be able to attend certain meetings.
Conduct Deep Research & Analysis:
Perform market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence on strategic opportunities; synthesize healthcare data into actionable insights and compelling presentations.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as connective tissue across Product, Operations, Marketing, and Clinical teams, driving alignment on joint company objectives.
Manage Operational Excellence:
Design and implement scalable processes for quarterly planning, OKRs, and company-wide initiatives that enhance decision-making velocity.
Shape External Communications:
Draft and refine investor updates, board materials, and company-wide announcements; prepare the CEO for high-stakes presentations.
Navigate Meeting Follow-ups:
Capture key decisions, distribute action items, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
Build Strategic Frameworks:
Develop data-driven models for pricing, market entry, and resource allocation.
Who you are You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and proven management consulting experience. You are curious about healthcare innovation and patient outcomes, capable of balancing strategic vision with operational execution. You are comfortable with ambiguity, excel at building consensus without formal authority, and have the presence to represent the CEO when needed.
Key requirements
5-8 years of professional experience
with 2+ years at a premier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent).
MBA from a top business school
or equivalent advanced degree with strong business acumen.
Proven track record
of managing complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Exceptional analytical skills
with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and modern analytics tools.
Outstanding communication abilities
with experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members.
Technical fluency
to engage with engineering and product teams; coding experience is a plus.
Healthcare industry experience
or demonstrated interest in health technology (preferred but not required).
Unimpeachable integrity
with ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
