This position oversees daily accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting while leading a small, capable team. You\'ll partner closely with divisional leadership to streamline processes, support business decisions, and ensure accuracy across the financials. What You\'ll Do
Lead month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet) Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Manage and mentor 3-4 accounting team members Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Support internal/external audits and ensure GAAP compliance Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and logistics Recommend and implement process or system improvements Must-Haves
Month-end close expertise with the ability to prepare financial statements (P&L) Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Comfortable working in a blue-collar environment Critical thinker and self-starter who can work with minimal supervision Like-to-Haves
Private equity experience People management/leadership experience Process and system improvement expertise Strong systems and Excel skills Cost accounting or job costing experience Details
