Overview
Perfusion Assistant — Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, California. USC Department of Surgery Perfusion Division is recruiting a Perfusion Assistant. The Perfusion Assistant will perform patient care and assist Certified Perfusionists during the support, treatment, measurement or supplementation of the circulatory system, including cardiopulmonary bypass, cardiac and respiratory assistance, monitoring and diagnostic measurement and autologous blood salvage. Live scan will be required for this position.
Details Hourly rate range for this position is $22.37 - $23.00. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
Minimum Certifications: BLS/CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certification
Minimum Experience:
Minimum Skills: Experience in clinical or research healthcare setting; mechanical ability
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Related undergraduate study
Preferred Experience: 1 year
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of universal precautions; experience with perfusion equipment and procedures
