We’ve been exclusively retained by a fast-growing boutique law firm on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Known for winning complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy cases for high-profile clients, this firm combines elite strategy with a lean, collaborative team structure. They’re seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to take the lead on high-stakes matters, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to a litigation team built for speed, precision, and impact. Responsibilities
Lead high-stakes commercial litigation matters from intake through trial. Mentor and develop junior attorneys on the team. Collaborate closely with founding partners and contribute to case strategy and execution. Support business development and client growth initiatives as part of the litigation team. Requirements & Qualifications
6+ years of experience in commercial litigation JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in New York State Admission to the New York Federal Court (EDNY/SDNY) Proven experience handling complex business disputes Strong writing, research, and case strategy skills Ability to manage multiple cases and mentor junior attorneys Trial experience is preferred; must be courtroom-ready Preferred Background
Experience in business bankruptcy or financial restructuring litigation Prior work at a litigation boutique or Am Law firm Strong deposition and motion practice experience Ability to lead case strategy sessions and manage litigation teams Interest in contributing to firm growth and client development Grit, presence, and a solutions-first mindset Compensation
$225,000 - $275,000 Benefits & Environment
