Location: Palatine, IL — Loving Care Animal Hospital Veterinarian – Medical Director/Partnership Pathway (NO WEEKENDS!) Seeking a compassionate and collaborative Veterinarian to join a family-oriented team with an opportunity to grow into a Medical Director and potential partnership through Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP). What to Expect
Salary:
$100,000 - $130,000 per year + pro-sal (no negative accrual for the first twelve months) Sign on Bonus:
Up to $25,000 Location:
444 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60074 Hours of operation:
Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Wednesday & Thursday 9:00 am – 7:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday: Closed We support a mission to provide the highest standard of veterinary care in a compassionate manner, build open and honest client relationships, and celebrate the human-animal bond. You will be supported in your work and personal life with: Work-life balance:
4-day work week, no weekends, no on-call responsibilities. Daily lunch hour reserved between 1 pm–2 pm. Team support:
2-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio; experienced technicians manage tasks beyond doctor-specific responsibilities. Benefits:

Provide high-quality medical care for small animals in a general practice setting. Collaborate with team to deliver comprehensive client communication and patient care. Develop leadership toward Medical Director responsibilities and potential partnership. Uphold clinic standards, participate in routine preventive medicine and surgeries as appropriate. Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD from an accredited institution. Illinois Veterinary Board License in good standing (or ability to obtain prior to start date). DEA License preferred, but not required. Who We’re Looking For
A small animal veterinarian open to leadership and collaboration. Strong communicator who works well in a team and values a family-like culture. Competence with general practice cases, preventive medicine, and routine soft-tissue surgeries (dentistry experience welcome but not required). Energetic about transitioning into Medical Director and potential partnership. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. About Loving Care Animal Hospital
