Position Summary As a Manager for the Business Compliance Office (BCO) located within the CVS Health Corporate Compliance Division, you will be a key contributor to the successful identification, review, communication, and implementation of state and federal regulations. In this role, you will be collaborating cross-functionally within the organization to implement and monitor compliance initiatives impacting the CVS Health enterprise. Additionally, the position includes identifying impacted business departments and business owners; developing and fostering key stakeholder relationships; and reviewing process enhancements and implementation to effectively address compliance requirements. This key position requires an individual to work independently and collaborate with CVS Health colleagues to meet regulatory implementation timelines which ensures the healthiness of the compliance program for the individual’s responsible business segments.

The Manager, Business Compliance for the Business Compliance Office will:

Review new and enacted laws and regulations pertaining to CVS Health’s Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) business segment.

Coordinate with the applicable Legal partners to review and interpret applicability of regulations to the PBM.

Work closely with the PBM Regulatory Affairs team as this team implements parts of PBM regulations that are co-managed between the two teams.

Facilitate the compliance effort with the applicable CVS Health business segments to implement processes or programs to comply with any new law or regulation.

Establish working relationships with business and process owners to drive and implement business practice enhancements to increase compliance program effectiveness.

Actively participate in applicable business working groups/committees for identified responsible areas.

Drive regulation implementation or business compliance of initiatives to completion and validate their effectiveness through obtaining evidence of compliance.

Enthusiastically engage in additional projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a regulatory environment and/or compliance environment.

Preferred Qualifications

PBM experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Previous experience with legislation and/or regulatory research.

Knowledge in state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Ability to maintain attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment (including across an organization).

Ability to manage multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met.

Team building skills that effectively influence and engage others in regulatory requirement resolution. Demonstrated team player who can develop cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

Maintain the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.

Travel to other business locations may be required infrequently.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree is required or equivalent years of related experience.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
