The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an

Industrial Engineer

to join our team in

San Antonio, Texas .

You will have the opportunity to work on the next generation Presidential Aircraft (VC-25B) and support Boeing Mobility, Surveillance, & Bomber portfolio products. You will be part of an outstanding team of designers and engineers shaping this one-of-a-kind next generation aircraft.

The ideal candidate will utilize manufacturing operations knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross functional teams from operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational goals. The Industrial Engineer assists in stabilizing the production environment, implements lean methodologies, assesses test readiness requirements, and improves quality through root cause analysis. We are looking for dynamic thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders to drive results as Boeing grows as a Global Industrial Champion. Industrial Engineers.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Applies industrial engineering concepts to product, process, and services to meet program requirements

Develops capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and workflows

Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations

Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel

Conducts workflow design and analysis

Develops models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for leaders and customers

Researches, designs, develops, improves, and implements processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality for large scale systems integration

Develops and implements plans for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods

Creates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices

Prepares operations plans, including work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production changes

Supports execution planning using project management, planning and scheduling, and shop load practices

Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support

Ensures compliance with established safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

3+ years supporting manufacturing or test operations

Experience with problem solving and improvement projects

Experience with manufacturing engineering planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 4: 7+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with LEAN manufacturing and LEAN principles

Experience using Aurora scheduling software

An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Pay & Benefits: Boeing offers a Total Rewards package including competitive base pay and variable compensation, plus health, retirement, and other benefit programs. Pay ranges are based on candidate experience and qualifications.

Summary pay range (Experienced): $86,700 - $117,300

Summary pay range (Senior): $102,850 - $139,150

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on eligibility.
