Overview
Starting Pay: $65,000/year. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position and may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
Responsibilities
Travel the defined territory to grow business through direct face to face contact with customer base.
Build customer relationships through consultative selling techniques, soliciting orders and/or talking with customers via phone and virtual meeting place technology.
Work with customer service and branch location to develop new business.
Work with inside sales representatives to establish contact for customers to place orders, delivery schedule and obtain pricing information.
Quote prices on products and determine if a customer would fit into a volume purchase program.
Remain abreast of customer purchases by using monthly customer reports.
Follow up on samples or catalogs issued to prospective or existing customers.
Collaborate with Product Trainer to gain knowledge of product applications so customers are informed of current developments.
Meet territory reporting deadlines and conduct competitive reconnaissance.
Record activities and opportunities in our CRM on a daily basis.
Provide the company with information regarding customer feedback and be a resource to all current sales channels.
Plan and organize sales strategies.
All other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college; one to three years selling experience preferred; or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
Must have state driver's license.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be organized and thorough.
Ability to be flexible when working with other associates and managers.
Self-starter, objective, and assertive in work.
Exhibit and maintain confidentiality with company related issues and materials.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of team leaders, managers, associates, and customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
