Overview
BioLegend, part of Revvity, provides researchers with high-quality reagents for life science research. The Bottling Technicians for the BMIA group will be responsible for processing product formulations, filling, capping, labeling, completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI). This is a highly team-oriented role that collaborates with the BMIA departments (LEGENDplex and ELISA) and other departments including Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging, MCI, and Quality Control. Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist in bottling-related tasks, including dispending antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes, or bottles. Formulate products per approved SOPs and work instructions. Verify formulation worksheets to ensure information such as concentrations and lot numbers is correct. Perform simple math calculations. Store finished goods in designated temperature conditions. Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel. Provide training to others. Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations. Operate computer-controlled process support/equipment (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machines). Follow instructions to complete job tasks and adhere to procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines. Clean and maintain the work area, lab equipment, and supplies. Contribute to other projects or responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience
High school diploma/GED or some college. 6 months of experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging environment. Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience
6 months of experience in a regulated manufacturing industry. Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products. Ability to perform simple math calculations. Aseptic technique in a biosafety cabinet. Work Environment & Physical Demands - Lab
Work regularly occurs in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer and occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, or operate objects and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Salary:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $20-$21.50/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay offered will consider internal equity, location, and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Salary details are discussed with the recruiter during hiring. Important:
