Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory

Senior Managers will work closely with ‘C-level’ management of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies. CFGI Senior Managers lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, developing and managing client relationships, and business development.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams and interact with clients and their auditors on engagement deliverables.

Own projects from start to finish and drive client deliverables, including report writing and regulatory/financial information in accordance with SEC requirements.

Interact with clients’ executive teams and act as a subject matter expert on complex accounting issues.

Lead process improvement projects and implementations; mentor managers and consultants.

Support business development, client relationship building, and recruiting initiatives.

What you might expect

Interact with clients’ executive teams and auditors, guiding clients through complex accounting issues and driving conclusions.

Lead client engagement and deliver operational due diligence for complex transactions (e.g., IPOs, acquisitions/divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises).

Ensure deliverables meet SEC/regulatory requirements (e.g., 10-Ks, 10-Qs, S-1/S-4 filings) and coordinate audits.

Serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to new ASC accounting standards.

Lead firm initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Mentor and provide actionable feedback to engagement teams.

Who you are

An undergraduate degree in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA may be substituted for the degree, based on experience.

Eight plus years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to assimilate into teams.

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

Proactive in identifying client needs and building strong client relationships.

Highly organized with the ability to set engagement direction and expectations.

Analytical and critical thinking abilities; entrepreneurial, ethical, and dependable.

High energy with commitment to quality client service and resolving conflicts positively.

Willingness to continue learning through training and contributing to firm knowledge base.

Compensation CFGI is dedicated to offering strong and inclusive total compensation packages. The base salary range for this position is:

$130,000 - $185,000 . Compensation includes a competitive benefits package and bonus programs based on level and performance.
