Remote Please apply with your English CV. This role will report to the Sales Director and will manage a team of Territory Account Managers. You will be responsible for leading the execution of Illumina’s commercial strategies, ensuring budgeted annual sales and profit objectives are met within designated territories and for the district overall. To be successful in this role, you will have a life sciences background, experience selling technology, medical devices, capex, and be familiar with public tenders and a clinical environment. You will be a dynamic sales leader who has a structured approach, sales and people management experience, sales force experience, as well as accurate forecasting abilities. You will manage teams of highly successful Territory Account Managers who have large quotas to fill in Italy, one of Europe's fastest-growing regions. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor the district business plan to meet assigned revenue and strategic objectives. Responsible for the direction, support, and motivation of the district sales team to meet agreed targets and objectives. Establish territory quotas and achieve the quarterly and annual sales and profit plan as assigned. Routinely forecast, monitor, and control selling and other expenses for the district within assigned expense budgets. Routinely and accurately forecast customer demand. Ensure that sales staff achieves their forecasts, follows company guidelines/practices/policies, and provide timely development plans to correct for underperformance. Responsible for ensuring that Illumina’s commitment to customer satisfaction is performed, delivered, and constantly improved. Talent Acquisition, talent development, performance management. Significant sales experience in the Life Science industry. Sales management experience in the Life Science industry. Must be able to build relationships at every level in the organization. Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related subject area.
