Recruit high school students, adult degree seekers, and graduate students through various avenues and provide support for those prospects and their families as they progress through the college search, admissions, and enrollment processes. Advise on academic planning, programs and requirements relevant to degree options available through traditional programming on the main campus. Promote and support university-wide initiatives related to the traditional student experience. Provide effective onboarding support to new students and establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders. Essential Functions

Recruit a diverse population of traditional undergraduate students through high school visits, education fairs, consortiums, and recruitment events. Develop and maintain relationships with local technical colleges, companies, and agencies to raise Lakeland U’s profile and increase enrollment. Communicate regularly with prospective students within the established communication flow. Utilize the university CRM system (Slate) to assist the admissions process. Refer prospective and current students to campus and community resources as appropriate (faculty mentors, career counselors, financial aid advisors, student services representatives, etc.). Support and contribute to team and student success efforts and the college mission; the team is collectively responsible for admissions, enrollment, and retention. Advise prospective students by providing timely and accurate information about degree options, admissions and registration procedures, general education requirements, program requirements, and degree plans. Participate in program planning, professional development, and collaborations to promote recruitment, retention, and degree completion of traditional students. Perform other duties as assigned. Specialized Know-how & Skills

Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Strong organizational skills. Ability to assess and communicate with adult students diverse in ability, background, and academic interests. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication. Proficiency in common technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to master new software. Qualifications Preferred: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Experience with returning adult students. Familiarity with adult education principles. Working knowledge of Jenzabar or similar CRM platforms. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
