General Manager or Franchise Owner The Access Control Technician position is an integral part of FlyLock Security Solutions - Daly City and is key to the growth of the company. All Access Control Technicians must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the FlyLock owner. The Access Control Technician position is a hands-on technical position geared toward an individual who has a technical mindset. Ideal candidates will have locksmithing knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn new technical methods and techniques. Flexible work from home options available. Note: This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Inspect, install, and service basic and complex commercial and residential access and video systems. Perform advanced, complex troubleshooting and repair functions for commercial and residential access and video systems (programming; cleaning detectors; testing controls and peripheral devices; mounting, replacing, and testing equipment; running cable). Instruct customers in system operation and recommend additional features and capabilities. Respond to customer questions and requests; recommend corrective services to address customer concerns; diffuse difficult issues. Build and maintain working relations with the sales staff. Define the scope of add-ons and change orders, secure customer approval, and write up paperwork. Perform site visits with sales consultants for existing or potential clients. Take responsibility for the project from first walk-through to final sign-off and hand-offs to service. Maintain accurate records of inspections, service calls, and troubleshooting, including documentation and paperwork updates. Act as onsite project lead to meet project timelines and goals; oversee lead technicians, technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors. Other duties as required by management. Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical hands-on field focusing on security solutions, access control, door hardware, and related skilled trades. Experience inspecting, installing, and servicing access and video systems. Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repair functions for access and video systems. Strong customer-facing skills and ability to educate customers on system operation. Ability to work with sales teams on project scope and paperwork. Willingness to take leadership on projects and coordinate cross-functional teams. Nice to Have

Must be able to fluently understand, speak, and write English. Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop; reach above and below the shoulders; use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull. Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground; withstand external weather conditions year-round. Compensation and Location
