The Proposal Manager supports the Capture + Proposal Marketing function by leading proposal development and production; executing direct marketing initiatives; and providing additional sales/business development, vendor management and market research leadership as needed regionally. You will be aligned with the Strategy and Business Development team and work directly with Operations Teams to support major opportunities and proposals, develop marketing collateral and manage client prequalification submissions. Your role contributes to the marketing strategy, business development activity and programs for your region, helping to increase the firm’s overall win rate. This is a remote role, however candidates must be located and reside in the West region (Washington, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, or Idaho). Responsibilities

Lead proposal activities for must-win pursuits. Organizes, produces and assembles proposal submissions including RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, SOQ’s, PQQ’s and Vendor Registrations. Develops, produces and assembles marketing support materials (i.e., qualification packages, proposals). Adheres to established proposal and knowledge management templates, quality standards and Jensen Hughes Brand guidelines. Contributes to building a repository of proposal materials specific to regional needs. Updates client and project information in the marketing project and personnel database – Cosential, including project descriptions, staff resume updates and other shared knowledge used by the proposal team. Collaborates with the Creative Team to obtain project and stock imagery for proposal submissions. Coordinates strategic client vendor procurement, registration and management with various departments as needed. Prepares business development and proposal interview presentations. Supports marketing campaign and collateral development and execution. Requirements And Qualifications

Prior experience with architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) firm is required. Prior experience managing proposals is required. Proficient in MS Office suites – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Proficiency in MS Planner is a plus, as well as proficient in Adobe, particularly InDesign. Ability to manage and execute responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs based on market knowledge. Experience managing a high-volume of teaming requests and client-specific templates (most often in InDesign). Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail, quality control review and proofreading skills required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to craft well-articulated and polished content is crucial to this role. Experience with proposal writing including executive summaries and section introductions. Experience managing technical authors and proposal documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements and meet submission deadlines, including deliverables checklists and proposal outlines. Experience collecting data from a variety of stakeholders and functional areas to generate proposals within the region. Understanding of marketing and business development activities within various industries and client types as needed for the region, practice, vertical market, or service line. Occasional flexibility to work extended hours to accommodate deliverables may be required. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: The salary range provided is a good faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation may vary based on responsibilities, education, experience, and location. Jensen Hughes offers a competitive total rewards package, including a 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage and other benefits. National Pay Range: $70,000—$80,000 USD.
