Overview
Data Analyst 4 position for a leading athletic footwear and apparel company. Location: Beaverton, OR. Duration: 06 months. Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship). Hybrid work arrangement. Tableau certification is nice to have but not required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a data analyst role. Responsibilities
Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint variances and recommend solutions to avoid variances in the future. Maintain centralized Transportation related data consumption and reporting layers; collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide reliable, well-structured data. Drive analysis of financial and operational performance data to identify insights and opportunities to improve the end-to-end transportation network using analytical modeling and predictive analytics. Report business KPIs for senior leadership and partner with stakeholders to deliver relevant analysis and insights. Provide data-driven insights to support business operations, including spend forecasting, volume/spend analytics, and vendor selection/allocation recommendations. Coordinate and lead large analytical projects with firm deadlines; perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic discussions with internal and external partners; support capability development to drive business growth and performance across segments and stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain and Transportation to leverage analytics for marketplace service and efficiency improvements. Qualifications
5 years’ experience in a data analyst role. SQL expertise (5 years). Python (4 years). Tableau (4 years). Databricks (2 years). Excellent communication and organizational skills. 2 years’ experience in the Transportation or Supply Chain industry is required for this role. Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in Transportation or Supply Chain industry. 1 year of Airtable experience. Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies with a track record of delivering projects in iterative and collaborative environments. Consulting or Finance experience is preferred. What You’ll Work With

This role analyzes last mile transportation data including transactional data, shipping costs, and forecasting to optimize marketplace service and efficiency. Analytical and driven candidate who can navigate ambiguity, think critically, manage priorities, and drive results with a proactive mindset. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant combination of education and experience. Experience with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using SQL, Python, Alteryx, R, or similar tools; data cleaning, transformation, and integration expertise. Ability to explain complex analytics simply and gain cross-functional buy-in. 5 years of progressive analytics experience in logistics; 5 years of experience with SQL, 4 years with Python, 2 years with Databricks, 4 years with Tableau.
