Dagen is recruiting an HRIS Administrator for an LNG company located in downtown Arlington, VA. This is an in-office position with fully paid benefits. Job Summary

Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administrator will play a key role in the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This position serves as a technical and functional resource for the HR team and broader business, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and operational excellence across all Workday modules. The HRIS Administrator will act as a backup administrator for all Workday modules (Time Tracking, Benefits, Absence, etc.) and will collaborate closely with functional leads and the Director to support system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support Workday configuration across all HCM modules. Serve as a backup administrator for all HCM modules, not limited to Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits, ensuring seamless continuity of operations during absences or workload spikes. Monitor integrations between Workday and third-party vendors (benefits providers, payroll systems, etc.), identifying and resolving data or processing errors. Manage business processes, workflows, and security roles in compliance with internal controls and data governance policies. Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits and validations of employee and organizational data. Partner with HRIS team and business stakeholders to evaluate new Workday functionality and releases; test and deploy system updates and enhancements. Assist in the development, configuration, and rollout of new Workday features or modules. Participate in regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation activities. Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and improved user experience within Workday. Develop, maintain, and distribute standard ad hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics in Workday. Ensure reporting accuracy and data consistency across all stakeholders. Provide reporting support for compliance, audits, and management requests. Serve as a Workday subject matter expert (SME) and first-line support for HR, managers, and employees. Troubleshoot system and data issues, escalating internally or to Workday Support as needed. Performs other duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field. A minimum of five years of HRIS experience with at least two years of Workday hands-on configuration or support experience required. Prior experience supporting one or more of the following Workday modules required: Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, or Recruiting. Proficiency in Workday HCM functionality, security, and business process frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Workday Reporting, and data analysis. Familiarity with integrations, file feeds, and data mapping between Workday and third-party systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support and train end-users. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement. Collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
