Vice President of Enterprise Regulatory Compliance The Vice President of Enterprise Regulatory Compliance is a critical leadership role that oversees the second-line regulatory compliance function. This role leads the strategic implementation and oversight of the compliance management system, ensuring adherence to international, federal, and state regulatory requirements. The role fosters a culture of ethical conduct and serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on emerging regulatory risks. It is responsible for the credit union\'s reputation, operational integrity, and regulatory standing. The role leads the Enterprise Compliance Committee alongside the Senior Vice President of Legal, providing enterprise-wide regulatory interpretation, policy development, and compliance training. The designated Enterprise Compliance Officer ensures the credit union, affiliates, volunteers, and employees understand and abide by regulatory and internal policies. This position requires mastery of varied regulations, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to mitigate risk and partner effectively with senior leadership, the Board, and operational teams. Essential Functions

Compliance Strategic Oversight:

Develop and maintain a long-term compliance roadmap that supports growth, risk management, and innovation. Align compliance objectives with risk appetite and regulatory expectations. Monitor evolving laws and enforcement trends across jurisdictions (e.g., NCUA, CFPB). Anticipate regulatory shifts and adjust compliance posture. Provide regular briefings to the Board of Directors and executive committees. Ensure governance structures are robust. Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures. Ensure timely corrective actions and training. Embed compliance into business processes, product development, and member experience in collaboration with Legal, Risk, Audit, and Operations. Benchmark program maturity against industry standards (e.g., FFIEC). Compliance Projects & Program Management:

Oversee the design and continuous improvement of the enterprise compliance program, including policies, controls, monitoring, and testing. Lead cross-functional compliance projects (regulatory remediation, system upgrades, policy rollouts). Develop and manage ongoing monitoring and testing frameworks. Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation. Lead development and implementation of the enterprise compliance management system and related GRC modules. Oversee collaboration with first-line compliance functions and the Enterprise Compliance Committee. Act as the Enterprise Compliance Officer and liaison between compliance and business units. Facilitate training and communications for program adoption. Oversee reviews of marketing materials for regulatory adherence and fair advertising. Coordinate with Legal on investigations and resolution of member complaints to inform compliance improvements. Departmental Management & Leadership:

Allocate resources (budget, technology, personnel) to support strategic priorities. Build and retain a high-performing compliance team. Manage departmental budget and resource allocation. Advocate for technology, training, and staffing investments. Provide direction on work assignments and coaching for staff development. Lead employees to meet department objectives and handle supervisory duties. Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and collaboration. Bank Secrecy Act:

Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or Juris Doctor. 12+ years\' financial institution experience in Operations, Lending, or Regulatory Compliance or as a practicing attorney (required). 8+ years\' relevant experience in Compliance (required). 6+ years\' relevant experience in supporting financial services practices (required). 6+ years\' financial institution experience with regulatory compliance in a heightened regulatory environment (>$10B assets) (required). Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills

Pragmatism: ability to scale compliance programs according to enterprise risk and size. Results-oriented with strong project management skills. Expertise in analyzing large datasets for decision-making and regulatory reporting. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels and with regulators. Effective communicator who translates complex regulatory language into actionable guidance. Comprehensive understanding of credit union operations, products, and applicable laws including BSA and USA PATRIOT Act. Commitment to fostering a high-performing compliance culture and continuous improvement. Mastery in policy development and technical writing. Proficiency in reviewing legal documents and providing actionable recommendations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Certifications

At least one certification such as NAFCU NCCO or other approved banking compliance certification within 1 year (required). Environmental, Physical and Psychological Requirements

The pay range for this position is: $242,988 to $268,566 per Year (S22). Final compensation will be determined by relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and pay equity. This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance. Benefits
