Overview
The Position The Associate Director, Health Care Provider (HCP) Marketing – US Dermatology is based in Plymouth Meeting, PA and reports to the Director, US Dermatology Brand Marketing Strategy. The role leads strategic and tactical initiatives for the U.S. Dermatology portfolio in Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis, developing and executing integrated campaigns, messaging, segmentation, and omnichannel engagement to reach healthcare professionals across dermatology and adjacent specialties. The position requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical rigor, and creative excellence, with a focus on using insights and data to shape HCP behavior and preference. It also emphasizes sales orientation and serving as a liaison to the Field. Responsibilities
Lead the development of the annual strategic and tactical marketing plan for U.S. Dermatology HCP audiences, including synthesis of insights and market data to inform innovative execution. Drive message development and evolution across Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation aligned to clinical data and brand positioning. Oversee segmentation and targeting initiatives, translating insights into actionable strategies to deepen engagement across dermatology, primary care, and advanced practice providers. Partner with Sales, Training, and Medical Affairs to ensure alignment and pull-through of marketing strategies through field-facing tools, competitive response resources, and educational initiatives. Lead development of HCP promotional tactics—including journal ads, digital campaigns, email, field materials, and conferences—ensuring content excellence and compliance. Engage with priority HCPs through live and virtual interactions to build long-term professional relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Strategic Relations, Data & Analytics, HEOR, Access, and Operations) to deliver an integrated, customer-centric go-to-market approach. Manage agency partnerships to drive creative development, omnichannel execution, and performance optimization. Serve as a key liaison with Market Research and Insights to plan, execute, and apply learnings that strengthen HCP strategy. Support business performance tracking, leadership reporting, and competitive preparedness in collaboration with the broader Dermatology team. Ensure timely and compliant content review and approval through Veeva PromoMats and the MLR process. Required Education, Experience and Skills
BA/BS Minimum five years of pharmaceutical marketing experience in HCP or professional marketing roles, preferably within Dermatology. Proven ability to translate insights into impactful strategies and deliver high-quality marketing execution. Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across commercial, medical, and agency partners. Demonstrated excellence in project management, communication, and attention to detail. Experience navigating the MLR review process (Veeva PromoMats preferred). Ability to analyze market data and apply learnings to drive brand performance. Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities. Willingness to travel approximately 20–25%, including occasional weekends. Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
MBA or advanced business degree. Experience in Dermatology or Immunology therapeutic areas strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in strategic and tactical planning for in-line or launch brands. Prior experience with omnichannel campaign execution and digital HCP engagement. Familiarity with field force enablement and competitive response strategy. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Prior sales or customer-facing experience.
