The faculty person will be responsible for didactic and clinical teaching at both the postgraduate and undergraduate level. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: predoctoral education of fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, dental anatomy, occlusion, biomaterials, and operative dentistry. Participation in predoctoral and post-doctoral teaching, as well as participation in the Departmental Master of Dental Science degree program; scholarly activity, research, and service is expected. The selected candidate will teach and/or direct preclinical courses, serve as an advisor for students, lecture in departmental courses as directed, participate on committees as assigned, and other assignments as directed by the Chair.
Position will remain open until filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.

Immunization Requirements Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
