What You’ll Do
Provide technical expertise at an advanced level; participate in managing client relationships, client service and practice management. Supervise and direct client engagements: provide technical expertise, perform analyses, supervise and guide consultants while managing project timelines and senior management expectations. Assist with practice development including the creation of pitches and conducting market research. Work with junior staff to review work products, financial statements, models and reports for accuracy and completeness. Discuss status and results of work performed with clients; prepare and review work plans, ensuring assignments stay within scope, budgeted time and delivery commitments. Monitor engagement progress, update Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors; leverage junior team members to create work products. Resolve analytical and technical problems as they arise; independently prepare work products including financial models (e.g., three-statement models and 13-week forecasts). Apply business, economics, finance, accounting and analytical skills to client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., financial modeling, ratio and comparable company analysis, financial statement review and projections, business plan assessment, due diligence). Understand, synthesize and analyze large data sets related to complex restructuring, due diligence and litigation; provide relevant analysis and summaries for clients, FTI management or attorneys. What You’ll Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 5+ years of post-graduation professional experience in investment banking, corporate lending, consulting, public accounting, or related professional services Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices Preferred Qualifications Experience with bankruptcy and restructuring processes or related financial/analytical work, with strong project management skills and a proven ability to lead teams What We Offer
