About the Team: Our Legal team supports the Worldcoin open-source protocol by managing Tools for Humanity’s legal affairs globally. We collaborate across the company to advance blockchain projects and enhance products including the Orb (hardware device), World ID, World App, and World Chain. We work closely with the Worldcoin Foundation and partners to ensure compliance with regulations such as securities, AML/CFT, consumer protection, litigation, trade, intellectual property, and labor. We value creativity, curiosity, and a shared sense of urgency and purpose.

About the Opportunity: We seek an experienced Legal Operations Manager to join our legal team. The role involves shaping legal operations processes, managing complex projects across jurisdictions, and leveraging legal department work. Candidates should be proactive, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple projects. Passion for blockchain and legal operations is essential.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee contract management lifecycle, including templates and renewals.

Improve legal team operations, systems, and innovation, collaborating with Legal Operations leadership and attorneys.

Vet and implement new technologies to enhance processes.

Support legal relationships with vendors and consultants.

Manage stock and token administration in Carta and related databases.

Coordinate with international legal service providers.

Work cross-functionally with user-facing teams and finance.

Manage relationships with external law firms.

Prepare NDAs and contracts, consulting attorneys as needed.

Operate independently while knowing when to involve attorneys.

Utilize technology and legal expertise to build systems for monitoring, testing, training, and reporting.

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.

5-10+ years in legal, project management, or compliance roles, especially in FinTech or law firms.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project oversight skills.

Excellent written communication skills.

Proficient with program management tools, GSuite, Microsoft Office, and SaaS tools like SQL, Looker, Figma, Slack, AirTable.

Collaborative, adaptable, and curious with high integrity.

Estimated salary: $160,000 - $190,000 plus incentives, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, mental health, 401(k), life insurance, flexible time off, and more.
