We are looking for someone passionate about hospitality and the customer experience to work on our Velocity Black Concierge product. You will have the opportunity to work on customer facing and internal products, and be asked to coordinate between stakeholders, engineering, and leadership to build a world class product.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to grow and enhance Velocity Black's luxury concierge offering. Work with operations, sales, engineering, and leadership to create a premium experience that exceeds customer expectations.
Dream up and deliver new luxury concierge features and experiences in partnership with business partners. Optimize in-market products through rapid testing and obsess over the customer experience.
Prioritize the roadmap to balance multiple priorities, building a product that customers love, meeting internal partner interests, and driving value for the luxury concierge business.
Shape the product development roadmap for new launches and features.
Work alongside a passionate, collaborative team to create innovative new concierge experiences.
Basic Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
Demonstrated personal interest and hands-on experience with modern AI tools and large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini)
A strong curiosity for applying emerging AI/ML technologies to solve practical business problems and improve user workflows
Ability to articulate the potential benefits, limitations, and risks of integrating generative AI into internal business processes and tools

Compensation and Benefits The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon hours worked. Locations include Richmond, VA; New York, NY; Any town, IL; McLean, VA. The actual offer will reflect the location and may include incentive compensation. Capital One offers a comprehensive, inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support total well-being.
Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300; New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300; Any town, IL: $175,500 - $200,300; McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300. Other locations follow local pay ranges. This role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
