Estate & Trust Tax Manager

An active California CPA license is required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation Minimum 6 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Estate & Trust tax compliance and consulting Strong technical expertise in Form 1041, 706, 709, and estate planning strategies Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff Proficient in tax software platforms and comfortable navigating technology-driven solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients and professional advisors Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the preparation and review of complex fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and family offices Partner with attorneys, financial advisors, and clients to structure tax-efficient estate plans Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff and senior associates within the tax team Serve as a technical resource for estate and trust matters, keeping the team informed on new legislation and tax law changes Manage client engagements, including scheduling, budgeting, and billing Contribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership, business development, and client relationship management Compensation & Benefits
