Advanced Practice Provider Gastroenterology . This part-time 0.50 FTE role is a part of the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases & Nutrition, Section of Gastroenterology. The General GI APP will support return patients at Rush Oak Brook practice site. Schedule will be weekdays, no weekends, no holidays, and no call. Our APP providers are trained in a subspecialty of Gastroenterology including pancreas, high risk cancer screening, and motility along with seeing a panel of general GI patients. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care within the scope of practice granted by Rush University Medical Center medical staff bylaws. Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure cost-effective and quality patient care. Support return patients at the Rush Oak Brook site. Preferred Qualifications

Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Gastroenterology is preferred. Relevant RN experience may be considered. Position Requirements

Nurse Practitioner: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications Excellent communicator Experience treating patients of all ages Procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D) Physician Assistant: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable Excellent communicator Experience treating patients of all ages Procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D) Compensation

The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
