Assistant Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach

St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School invites applications for Assistant Varsity Coach for the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team. This is a paid, part-time position, reporting to the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach and the Director of Athletics. The assistant varsity coach will support the Head Coach in attracting players to the school and additionally support players in their college search process. Analyzing game film to assess areas of strength and improvement is an additional expectation. As able, scouting of upcoming opponents is a shared responsibility of all members of the Varsity coaching staff. The St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team competes in two highly competitive leagues, the Interstate Athletic Conference and the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association. Qualified candidates will possess relevant lacrosse coaching experience with an emphasis on character based personal development. We seek to hire someone with strong character, an in-depth knowledge of offensive and/pr defensive elements of lacrosse, and an ability to effectively communicate with high school lacrosse players. Ideal coaching candidates should have experience coaching at the high school, club and/or college level. An appreciation for the role of lacrosse and athletics in the broader mission of St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is expected.
