Doctors Hospital of Modesto, Modesto, California – 461 beds; key service lines: Cardiovascular, Neurosciences, Women and Children’s Services, Neonatal Level III, Trauma Level II, Orthopedics, Robotic Surgery. Doctors Hospital of Manteca, Manteca, California – 73 beds; key service lines: Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics. San Ramon Regional Medical Center, San Ramon, California – 123 beds; key service lines: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Women’s Services. Position Summary

The Group Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic leadership as the senior executive responsible for all nursing and designated patient care functions and services within the hospital organization. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice at the facility level, ensuring high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management. The GCNO represents nursing concerns to the governing board and medical staff leadership; may take operational responsibilities for non-nursing departments as needed and will serve as the GCNO for Northern California. Qualifications and Experience

At least five years of progressive management experience in a facility environment as a Chief Nursing Officer of multiple or complex nursing departments. Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Proven leadership ability and facility operational expertise. Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession. Strong labor relations background. Proven success in recruiting, retaining, and developing staff; mentoring and professional growth. Ability to comply with regulatory standards, rules, and laws. Education & Certifications

Academic degree in nursing required; master’s degree in nursing or related field (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or Management) required. Active and current registered nurse license in the state of practice required. Current CENP or NEA certification preferred. Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $250,000–$350,000 annually. Compensation based on location, qualifications, and experience. Potential Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%–25% depending on role level. Management-level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses. Travel

Approximately 20 percent travel. Selected candidate may be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check. Tenet Healthcare complies with applicable vaccination laws.
