The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities. This role requires a strong blend of technical accounting expertise, leadership, and business acumen to ensure accurate financial management and provide strategic insights to guide decision-making. The Finance & Accounting Manager will supervise a team of accounting professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to support growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Develop financial dashboards and KPIs to support executive decision-making Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation, consolidation, and presentation to senior leadership Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analyses, and provide actionable insights Build financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow scenarios Partner with department leaders to manage budgets and track financial performance against strategic goals Compliance, Controls & Audit Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, tax filings, and internal financial policies Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes Stay current on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards Leadership & Team Development Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and finance staff Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth Delegate tasks effectively and ensure staff workload is balanced and aligned with organizational priorities Business Partnering & Strategy Act as a financial advisor to senior management, providing insights on business performance, risks, and opportunities Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other functions to align financial planning with business objectives Support strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and special projects Provide input on capital investments, pricing strategies, and vendor negotiations Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\'s degree preferred) CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and compliance requirements Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to accuracy Key Competencies
