New Jersey Institute of Technology Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) seeks an experienced and innovative financial leader to serve as its next Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer (SVP-CFO). This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of NJIT by guiding its financial strategy, supporting the implementation of a new decentralized budget model, and aligning resources with the ambitious goals of the NJIT Strategic Plan 2030. The SVP-CFO reports directly to the President and works collaboratively with senior academic and administrative leadership and the Board of Trustees to provide strategic advice to support fiscal health and growth objectives. The SVP-CFO oversees a portfolio of $809 million and an endowment valued at $167 million, and supports and staffs the Board of Trustees Finance and Audit Committee, Foundation Board of Directors Audit and Finance Committee, the NJIT Joint Investment Committee, and the University Senate Committee on Finance. Responsibilities

Partner with the president and senior leadership to implement an ambitious, forward-looking strategic plan that guides the university through today’s higher education environment toward a stronger future. Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight of NJIT’s finances, including management of the portfolio of $809 million and the endowment of $167 million. Support and staff committees governed by the Board of Trustees and related governing bodies (Finance and Audit Committee, Foundation Audit and Finance Committee, Joint Investment Committee, University Senate Committee on Finance). Lead change management initiatives and advocate for a suite of university services, motivating colleagues and managing complex, intersecting priorities while maintaining momentum. Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and inclusive decision-making to advance student success and best practices in finance and administration. Qualifications

Distinguished senior leader in finance and administration with proven experience in change management and strategic financial planning, preferably in higher education or a similarly complex organization. Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the ability to partner with the president and senior leadership as a trusted advisor. Demonstrated success in leading financial strategy, resource allocation, risk management, and organizational performance in a complex environment. Compensation Range:
