Assistant Professor - MFM (Finance)
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida (USF) is recruiting a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to fill its open academic position. This new clinician will join our seven established MFMs who provide comprehensive maternal-fetal care.
The Division's clinical scope includes labor and delivery, antepartum services, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and perinatal consultation. We have an active fetal therapy program with laser therapy and in-utero surgeries, along with programs managing complex pregnancies.
Opportunities include medical education and participation in statewide perinatal quality initiatives. Most division members are engaged in research or clinical programs. We have an ACGME-accredited MFM Fellowship and a residency program with 24 residents. Our primary affiliate, Tampa General Hospital, handles over 6,200 deliveries annually and has an 82-bed Level IV NICU.
Minimum Qualifications:
MD or equivalent from an accredited institution; board-eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship.
Meet university criteria for appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor with a record of achievement in teaching, research, and service.
Interest in resident and fellow education.
Unrestricted medical license in Florida.
Established academic productivity, research program, and/or grant portfolio preferred for higher ranks.
