Kumar Eye Institute is a privately owned, well-established ophthalmology group serving the Louisville community for over 40 years. We provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care across two state-of-the-art clinic locations. Our team includes fellowship-trained ophthalmologists, optometrists, skilled technicians, and a dedicated administrative staff focused on delivering excellent patient care in a collaborative, professional environment. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams - minimal refractions and contacts fitting (no optical on site) Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, etc.) Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery patients Collaborate with ophthalmologists and technicians for coordinated patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EyeMD experience a plus) Educate patients on treatment plans, eye health, and preventive care Compensation & Benefits
