Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking highly experienced and technically proficient candidates to serve as Subject Matter Expert III in Washington, DC. This senior-level role builds upon the proficiencies of Subject Matter Expert I and II, providing advanced technical knowledge, systems analysis, and strategic guidance to support complex implementations and innovation across the Department of Health (DOH).
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Certification:
Relevant certifications in compliance, auditing, systems analysis, or project management are a plus
Skills & Abilities:
Advanced technical expertise in specialized domains; Proficiency in PASS, Microsoft Suite, and database analysis tools; Strong understanding of DC Government procurement, contracting, and fiscal policies; Experience in systems design, integration, and documentation; Ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff; Excellent analytical, reporting, and training skills; Knowledge of risk analysis and remediation strategies; Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities
Perform all duties of Subject Matter Expert I and II
Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis within a specific domain
Focus on high-level functional systems analysis, design integration, and documentation
Advise on complex implementation challenges and provide strategic solutions
Apply industry methodologies to resolve technical and operational issues
Prepare technical reports and conduct training sessions for staff development
Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer
Ensure adherence to relevant policies, standards, and best practices
Conduct program risk analysis for system performance and compliance posture
Provide remediation guidance and recommend technical improvements
Identify areas for innovation and contribute to strategic planning
