Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Marietta, GA
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records of all customer payments and working collaboratively with our accounting and finance teams to ensure that all accounts receivable transactions are completed accurately.
Responsibilities:
Accurately process all customer payments and deposits
Perform daily reconciliations of customer payments
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer payments
Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment status and issues
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable
Monitor customer accounts for past‑due balances and take appropriate actions to collect outstanding debts
Work collaboratively with our accounting and finance teams to ensure that all accounts receivable transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Netsuite
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
