New locum call-only opening for Emergency Medicine provider in Hickory, NC. Open to NC or IMLC license in hand. Board Certified open to apply. 24 hour call only, 7a-7a. No clinic. Can get working fast with emergency credentialing available. Qualifications
Active NC license required. Board Certification preferred (open to apply). Clean history to obtain emergency privileges. Documentation of Patient Contact Hours (call back hours included in the rate and charged as call back hours). Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour on-call emergency coverage; on-site presence not required for call support. Document call back hours and patient contact hours on the timesheet; provide supporting notes to verify hours and any overtime. Notes must describe the specific reason for the call back so they can be validated in an audit report. Telephone calls and medical record reviews are not counted toward on-site call back hours.
