We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Water Project Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage a wide variety of water-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of water projects, including waste water, drainage designs, wastewater pumping design, water treatment, stormwater management design, and utilizing HydroCAD software. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of water and wastewater projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
3. Coordinate and direct project design and project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
4. Conduct detailed design of water and wastewater systems, including drainage designs, wastewater pumping design, and stormwater management design.
5. Utilize HydroCAD software for designing and modeling stormwater management systems.
6. Perform technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations.
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
8. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
9. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
10. Continuously monitor and report on project progress, offering solutions to any potential issues.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in water project management.
3. Proven experience in waste water, drainage designs, wastewater pumping design, water treatment, and stormwater management design.
4. Proficiency in HydroCAD or similar software.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater systems.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
