At Neptune Ops, we deploy the latest technology to help clients succeed in public affairs campaigns and elections. We focus on ad tech sales and public policy, with a focus on adopting our proprietary software, AI-I: Advanced Influencer Intelligence, which is redefining influencer targeting in public affairs. The Senior Account Ops Executive will conduct outbound and in-person sales communications to public affairs firms, lobbying firms, political consultants, trade associations, and other target clients. Most communications are B2B to consulting firms where Neptune Ops acts as a white-labeled digital partner, providing a full suite of digital tools to enhance offerings. In-person meetings are required in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) metro area with occasional travel. Responsibilities

The role involves outbound and in-person sales communications across digital channels, supported by a robust content marketing and advertising program. Key responsibilities include: Engage with target clients (public affairs firms, lobbying firms, political consultants, trade associations) to drive adoption of Neptune Ops offerings. Present technology demos and articulate the value of AI-I: Advanced Influencer Intelligence. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Manage and nurture sales leads using CRM and outbound sales tools. Coordinate and conduct in-person meetings in the DMV area and travel as needed. Qualifications

The essential traits are a combination of experience in: (1) Tech sales, political fundraising, or an adjacent client development role; (2) AI and advanced technologies such as ad tech, martech, or SaaS sales; and (3) Public affairs, politics, or public policy. The successful applicant will be a proven hustler and will receive thorough training on Neptune’s offerings across technology platforms. Must Haves: 5+ years of experience with a demonstrated record of success in a combination of political technology sales, non-political technology sales, or related roles. Experience in political technology sales (digital advertising, advocacy software, legislative tracking software, AI products, or related technologies) or non-political technology sales (ad tech, SaaS, channel partner sales, martech). Located in the Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia metro area. Experience with CRM and outbound sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn, Apollo, AI SDRs) to manage and nurture leads. Excellent project management, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort with technology demos. Proven reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to hustle; comfortable with being told no or ghosted. Passion for innovating in the sales process, including leveraging AI tools to improve results. Interest in learning the latest AI tools in the ad tech space and applying them to policy and election outcomes. Location, Perks, Salary, and Benefits

This is a full-time, fully remote role based in the DMV area. Neptune Ops offers a robust benefits package including discretionary time off, health/dental/vision, mental health support, paid family leave, pet and legal insurance, 401(k) match, paid sick time, holiday pay, bereavement and jury duty leave, and extensive training in AI-driven ad tech. The anticipated base salary range is $100,000-$120,000, with eligibility for an uncapped commission plan with accelerators. More than 50% of total compensation is expected to come from commissions.
