This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with a passion for labor and employment law to represent both local and national employers on a wide variety of complex legal matters. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on cutting-edge topics, including single-plaintiff employment cases and large-scale wage & hour class actions while working with a diverse team of legal professionals. Duties: Handle a wide array of labor and employment cases, including individual plaintiff employment disputes and wage & hour class actions. Advise clients on various employment law matters, such as wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour issues. Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements. Engage in legal research and analysis to assist in developing case strategies. Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. Maintain direct communication with clients, providing legal counsel and updates throughout the litigation process. Collaborate with colleagues in developing litigation strategies and managing complex cases. Participate in professional development opportunities, including mentorship programs and training initiatives. Contribute to business development efforts and assist in maintaining client relationships. Requirements: Experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation. Experience handling wage & hour class actions and single-plaintiff cases. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Ability to manage a full caseload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach. Must be admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active California State Bar membership required. Skills: In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law, particularly in the areas of wage & hour and wrongful termination. Strong litigation skills, with the ability to represent clients in all stages of litigation. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in case management and legal research tools. Client-oriented with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
