In this exciting role, you’ll be the gatekeeper of quality and accuracy, ensuring that every piece of content is polished, informative, and compliant. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s content strategy, contributing directly to its mission of financial empowerment. Responsibilities: Edit 3-5 long-form articles daily, focusing on home loans, mortgages, real estate trends, and homebuying processes. Transform complex financial concepts into clear, engaging content accessible to diverse audiences, especially first-time homebuyers. Uphold journalistic integrity while ensuring content resonates with target audiences. Submit articles for compliance review, adhering to strict deadlines. Strategically incorporate keywords and links to optimize content for search engines. Collaborate with SEO specialists to maximize organic search performance. Monitor content performance and suggest data-driven improvements. Fact-check all content, verifying data and sourcing information from reliable sources. Stay current on mortgage rates, lending regulations, and real estate market trends. Maintain a database of reliable sources and industry contacts. Ensure all content adheres to regulatory compliance standards for financial services marketing. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address content concerns. Maintain brand voice, style, and messaging consistency across all content. Implement feedback from compliance reviews efficiently and accurately. Partner with content writers, subject matter experts, and marketing team members. Participate in editorial calendar planning and content strategy discussions. Provide constructive feedback to junior writers and freelancers. Present content performance reports to stakeholders. Must-Have Qualifications: 10+ years of professional editing experience in digital content, journalism, or publishing. 3+ years of subject matter expertise in personal finance, home loans, real estate, or related financial services. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $66.41 to $73.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
