Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, driven, and proactive Sr. Business Development Manager to join our Rack Integration team at our headquarters in San Jose. This role involves working closely with corporate clients to identify and develop new opportunities in Rack Integration projects, generating leads for our sales teams and direct channel customers. The ideal candidate will bring innovative business development strategies to expand our Rack Integration offerings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
TTM for new product training for customers
Approach customers in supercomputing field and cold calling
Conduct general sales training scheduled annually or upon request, including creation of training kits for channel sales
Expand existing client accounts for retention and growth
Qualify opportunities; create target lists for vertical markets
Strategically position Super Micro's products and services
Promote appropriate products to the right customers
Develop relationships and communicate product and market information
Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects and collaborate with sales teams to close deals
Identify business opportunities
Work as part of a team and coordinate with other departments within the organization
Produce reports as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering discipline is highly desirable
Minimum of 8 years' experience in server products or sales/marketing environment preferred
Ability to work positively under deadlines and constraints, result-oriented, and attentive to detail
Consistently meet or exceed assigned goals in a timely manner
Strong communication skills across disciplines and cultures; demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills
Experience tracking and reporting lead activity data
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
Proven strong KPI performance at the department level
Basic understanding of AI-related networks such as InfiniBand and Ethernet Optical Network
Experience in Data Center environments
Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
The offered salary depends on factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and internal benchmarks. Candidates are also eligible for benefits, bonuses, and equity awards.
