North Point Technology is looking for TS/SCI-cleared Software Engineer SMEs to support the Chinook Program, a critical GEOINT modernization mission for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, and curious problem solvers with a BS in Software Engineering or a related field, plus the following experience: Primary Responsibilities: Lead design, development, and deployment of secure, enterprise-grade software in classified cloud environments (AWS C2S / GovCloud). Build and maintain containerized microservices and APIs that power GEOINT data and mission workflows. Develop front-end components using React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks. Implement DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, and Vault. Collaborate with customer Product Owners, architects, and agile teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Support continuous integration and test automation within Agile / Scrum methodologies. Ensure software compliance with IC cybersecurity, data governance, and GEOINT open standards (OGC, NSG). Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design documentation and roadmaps. Basic Qualifications: Active Top Secret

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Front-end development experience using React, Angular, or Vue.js. Knowledge of GEOINT data standards (OGC WMS/WFS, NSG). Experience with Elasticsearch / OpenSearch. Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, CISSP, or SAFe Agile.
