POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Forklift Driver II will be responsible for the facility trash and recycling, disposing of items with the use of forklifts and recycling equipment.

Maintain and operate the facility recycling equipment. Collect trash and recycling from the plant for disposal using a forklift. Complete daily assigned checklist items pertaining to facility upkeep and recycling programs. Documents actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and goods Maintains safe work environment by watching out for pedestrian traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with safety / legal regulations. Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; calling for repairs Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and job shadowing. Interact and maintain positive relationships with all levels of leadership. Accomplish special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management. Compliant with all safety rules and regulations, GMP's, and all DrinkPAK's policies and procedures. Establish and maintain high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity inside and outside of the plant. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Field or similar manufacturing / warehouse environment; 3 years preferred in Forklift position Forklift Certification required; must be able to successfully pass Forklift Certification by DrinkPAK upon hire. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred Proven ability to safely operate a sit-down motorized Forklift Ability to navigate within a WMS system Must have a full understanding of the operations of a Forklift, (electrical or Propane) OUR VALUES

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position often involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to lift approximately 50lbs, stand 8+ hours, push and pull required.
BASE HOURLY COMPENSATION RANGE:
$24.00
