Job purpose We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist to be the driving force behind Trajan Wealth's social media presence. Your mission is to elevate our content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, translating complex financial and investment concepts into scroll-stopping, brand-aligned engagement. You must live and breathe content trends from short-form video to emerging visual and verbal styles to connect authentically with our community. This role demands an organized, decisive expert who will own the entire content lifecycle: planning, capturing, editing, publishing, and insightful monthly reporting to ensure our work drives real lead generation. Note: This role would be 5 days in-office at our corporate office in Scottsdale.
Duties and responsibilities Social Media Content Creation:
Create and execute engaging social media content that aligns with brand standards and goals. Create verbally & visually appealing graphics, posts, and stories for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, etc).
Content Calendar Development:
Plan, organize, and manage a comprehensive content calendar that supports campaign objectives and deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
Video and Audio Production:
Produce, edit, and post high-quality video and audio content for social media and other digital platforms. Utilize industry-standard software to edit footage, add effects, and ensure polished final products.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of content and campaigns. Use insights to refine strategies and optimize content for maximum engagement and reach.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay up to date with the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and content production to ensure our strategies remain innovative and highly engaging.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Creative Director and Content Manager to align content with broader marketing strategies and initiatives. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to understand their needs and deliver outstanding results.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or a related field. Portfolio of stellar creative that has generated leads and contributed to growth. 5+ years of experience in digital media, social media management, and content creation. High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Premier), Canva, and Figma. Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for engagement. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
