Communications/Emergency Services - Telecommunicator II This role involves radio and telephone communications at the highest performance level, operating a public safety communications network (9-1-1). Employees work on an assigned 80 hours per pay period, on a shift basis, including weekends. A key responsibility is dispatching assistance during emergencies throughout the County.
Work is performed under the supervision of a Telecommunicator III, following standard 9-1-1 Communications Center practices and general work instructions.
Special Requirements Must have sat for and passed the 911 Skills Evaluation & Testing. Must have been an Emergency Responder or 911 Dispatcher within the last 2 years.
