About this Position Assistant Professor of Computer Science The Oklahoma State University (OSU) Department of Computer Science is seeking applications for an assistant professor in a tenure-track position with a start date of August 2026. Preferred research and teaching interests are in artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, or related areas with a solid track record in the core Computer Science domains. Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic applicant to expand the departments excellence in the educational, research and outreach mission of our department. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated research record along with the potential for teaching, program growth, and service excellence. Faculty are expected to pursue research collaborations with other faculty, industry, and research institutions as well as to further the universitys land grant mission through excellence in teaching and outreach activities. All faculty members are also expected to support the department's efforts in developing and teaching courses for our online certificate and degree programs and may be assigned to either the Tulsa or Stillwater campus.
