Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive obstetric care including delivery attendance, OB triage, and patient evaluation/management.
- Perform surgical assists and fetal monitoring across various in-house shifts.
- Ensure 24/7 coverage with two OB Hospitalists on duty together, never alone on shift.
- Engage in high-risk patient care with consults from maternal-fetal medicine experts.
- Participate in teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Work approximately 7.5 shifts per month, with flexibility for part-time options.
- Supports and collaborates with a Level-III NICU caring for newborns 23 weeks and above.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency).
- Experience as an OB Hospitalist is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Valid California medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration (must be obtained prior to the start date).
